You can plug your birth date into this calculator and discover all kinds of interesting things about the day you were born. The site is somewhat limited, however. For example, nowhere in my entry does it say that my mother was watching the Santa Claus parade in Toronto when she went into labour with me, or that one of my feet was born in a taxi. But still, now I know why I love the crescent moon.
WINTER SOCCER SEASON
The fall soccer season ends November 21st. If you would like your child to participate in soccer practices during the winter season (Nov. 27- Feb. 16th), you must re-enroll. The cost is $60.00 for Mat. 2 and $70.00 for Mat. 3, CP, CE 1, CE 2, CM 1 and CM 2. This price includes only practices and no games. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, Nov. 1. The practices will be on the same day and time as this fall season and on the DIS field.
If you want to play in the indoor soccer league, games will be on the weekends. You must register by Wednesday, Nov.1. Practices will be at the same day and time as the fall season and on the DIS outdoor field. The cost is $100.00 for Mat. 2 and $120.00 for Mat. 3, CP, CE 1, CE 2, CM 1 and CM 2. This price includes the practices mentioned above and games.
Every player must have a NTSSA card to play in an indoor soccer league. The cost is $16 for a whole year. Parents will need to purchase that before the first indoor game (it allows to play for a year in any NTSSA Indoor facility). Indoor teams will play at either Sole Roll in Dallas or Inwood Soccer Center in Addison. Mat. 2, Mat. 3, CP and the CE 2 girl’s team will play at Sole Roll ; CE 1, CE 2 boys, CM 1 and CM 2 will play at Inwood . The games at Sole Roll start on Nov. 1 and last 10 weeks to Jan. 7. The games at Inwood start in early December and last into February.

Dear all,
THE 2006-2007 PTO-DIS School Directory INFORMATION was compiled FROM THE REN-WEB INFORMATION SERVICE (Sheila and Douglas prints on AUGUST 10TH, 2006).
If some parents did not informed the school or did not modified RenWeb before Aug 10th, the number/ or info they gave to the school has been published at this date.
If the school typed the wrong number/info, it was saved like this in the database and published “as is” by us.
We were not able and not allowed by DIS administration to verify or to change the parents information for the Directory family section.
We received some info from the parents that we forwarded to DIS. Douglas and Sheila worked a lot last summer on the Renweb to be the most accurate and ready August 10th.
Also Sheila sent several times weekly emails to the family to ask them to update RenWeb for the coming Directory .
Last September Tracy sent some emails to the whole community (weekly email or special email) when some parents information changed (adress/telephone) and the parents asked these new info to be “published”.
